Information you choose to share
If you use the consultation form, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, referral source, and a message. If you contact us by email, phone, or social media, we receive the information you choose to send through that channel.
Please do not use this website or its contact form for emergencies. You may keep the initial message brief and avoid including sensitive clinical details that are not needed to request a consultation.
Website analytics and technical information
When website analytics are enabled, Mar Psychotherapy records limited events such as page views, language changes, profile views, and consultation-button clicks. The current analytics configuration disables automatic capture, session recording, surveys, and heatmaps, and masks page text and element attributes. Contact-form values are excluded from analytics events. We count accepted form submissions and broad acquisition sources such as search, AI referrals and directories. Search queries, chat URLs and unrestricted campaign parameters are excluded.
Our hosting, security, and analytics providers may also process technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, referring page, and timestamps. Website analytics use session storage, with acquisition attribution expiring after 30 minutes of inactivity. Analytics respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals and do not create person profiles. Hosting and service providers may use their own technical storage.
How information is used
Information submitted through the website is used to respond to inquiries, arrange consultations, operate and secure the website, understand which pages are useful, and meet applicable legal or administrative obligations.
Website information may be processed by service providers that support these functions. The consultation form is processed through Web3Forms, and limited website analytics may be processed through PostHog when analytics are configured.
Clinical privacy
This website notice covers use of the public website and consultation form. It does not replace any clinical Notice of Privacy Practices provided to clients. Information created or maintained in the course of treatment is handled separately under Mar Psychotherapy's clinical privacy practices and applicable law.
You may contact the practice to request the current clinical privacy notice or ask a question about how health information is handled.
Retention, security, and choices
Mar Psychotherapy uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no website, email, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Information is retained for operational, legal, and recordkeeping needs and then deleted or de-identified when it is no longer reasonably required.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal information. You may also limit cookies through your browser. To make a privacy request, contact the practice using the details below.

This notice may be updated as the website, service providers, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
