I'm Vidisha!
My therapeutic approach is integrative, relational, and grounded in attachment theory. I work from the belief that many present-day struggles are shaped by early relational experiences and patterns that once served a purpose but may no longer feel supportive or aligned.
I draw from attachment-based and inner child work, parts-based approaches, somatic practices, psychodynamic therapy, and cognitive-behavioral strategies. Together, these approaches allow us to explore early relational dynamics, examine patterns in thoughts and beliefs, and reconnect with emotional and bodily experiences that may have been pushed aside. I'm particularly interested in helping clients move beyond insight alone by cultivating a deeper sense of safety, regulation, and connection within themselves.
I also value spirituality as a source of meaning and resilience, and may integrate mindfulness-based principles - including influences from Buddhist teachings and the Bhagavad Gita - when this aligns with a client's values and worldview.
Above all, I aim to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can move at their own pace. I believe healing emerges through a combination of insight, emotional safety, embodied awareness, and genuine human connection. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded in themselves, more confident in navigating relationships, and more connected to their inner lives.
